    About the Role

    Seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to take the reins – step into a newly created role and make a meaningful impact for the spinal cord injury community.

    We’re looking for a passionate and proactive person with strong communication and stakeholder management skills who is ready take ownership of marketing to play a pivotal role in executing the marketing strategy and plan for Forward Ability Support and BrightSky Australia. You will be responsible for:

    • Marketing coordination
    • Liaising with external marketing agency and vendors
    • Collaborating with the Executive and team members to create content
    • Coordinating content for our social media platforms and community management
    • Organising, attending and managing business events, conferences and exhibition stands
    • Creating email marketing
    • Graphic design and collateral coordination
    • Keeping website content up to date
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including vendors, partners and internal teams
    • Conducting market research to identify trends and new opportunities

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in the Disability and/or Not For Profit sector
    • At least 2 years generalist Marketing experience
    • At least 1 year experience in event coordination
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
    • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a creative mindset.
    • Proficiency in email marketing, particularly with Mailchimp
    • Proficiency in Adobe CS (including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) and WordPress
    • Willingness and ability to travel intra and interstate to coordinate and attend events, conferences and exhibition stands
    • Willingness to complete a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and pre-employment health questionnaire

    Desirable but Not Essential:

    • Degree in Marketing or Communications
    • Experience with the NDIS
