Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Marketing Director to assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing subscriber engagement, retention, and growth across various digital platforms, including social media, web, and app (SC+), for both partners and consumers.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing engaging and informative materials that showcase Super Channel and promote its campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of Super Channel’s content offerings and target audience, as well as the ability to craft compelling copy for various social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok. Prior experience in copywriting is essential, specifically in crafting copy within the same or a related industry, along with a background in marketing, advertising, or communications.

The Marketing coordinator plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s brand image. Their ability to effectively promote the brand directly impacts revenue growth, subscriber acquisition, and overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your exceptional copywriting abilities to create and implement innovative marketing and communication strategies that make a lasting impact in the digital media realm, with a special focus on Social Media.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Develop and curate engaging copy for social media platforms and manage the monthly social media calendar for all 4 channels. (Heart & Home, Fuse, Vault & Quest).
  • Maintain and improve the company’s presence on all online platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Schedule all organic social copy in Meltwater (Social aggregator tool) – approval to be done by Marketing Director.
  • Ensure Brand consistency internally & externally & across all platforms.
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Prepare or oversee execution of analytic reports (subscriber engagement, etc.)
  • Conception to production – work with graphic designers and marketing team as required for visual and video assets, creative briefs, French translation for BDU’s.
  • Analyze data insights and analytics, marketing capabilities, consumer segments
  • Liaise with business partners, studios, PR Firm, and Advertising Agencies when needed.
  • Effectively communicate with new business contacts and maintain positive relationships with them.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; detailed, with the ability to spot errors.

  • Lead & plan the execution of marketing deliverables for partners and BDU’s based on brand and content priorities – monthly or as needed.

  • Assist in the content planning of newsletters (SC+, Amazon, A-list & Heart & Home), website, and customers emails.

Education & Experience::

  • Minimum Education Requirements:
  • • Certifications and Licenses (Google Ads & Analytics is an asset)
  • Degree or Diploma in journalism, public relations, communications, business, or marketing.

Experience & Requirements::

  • Years = 1-2 years
  • Experience in marketing or business marketing field is an asset
  • Experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role is an asset
  • A relevant Diploma or Degree in marketing related field is preferred
