Marketing Coordinator | Bespoke Events Management | Philippines

We are a UK-based event and venue management business looking for a remote, full-time marketing coordinator who can support our growing, close-knit team of five (plus three roles we’re currently recruiting). We are looking for someone who can help our team during mid-shift hours, working with our amazing Business Assistant, who is based in Pampanga. We are also recruiting for a Finance Administrator who will also be part of our remote team in the Philippines.

The type of person that we are looking for will be an excellent communicator, with good interpersonal skills and attention to detail. They will be confident, proactive, willing to take ownership to deliver tasks and have a self-starter mentality. Our business is at the start-up phase and going through a period of accelerated growth, so things change frequently so speed and accuracy of delivery are key. We’re looking for a kind, fun and confident person with excellent organisational skills.

The Role

  • Monitor and improve SEO performance: conduct keyword research, optimise content, manage meta tags, and use SEO tools to improve website ranking.
  • Coordinate paid advertising campaigns: set up, monitor, and optimize campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Website design and maintenance: update website content, ensure smooth navigation, manage landing pages, and improve user experience.
  • Track and report on website traffic: use Google Analytics and other tools to report on traffic sources, behaviour flow, and overall website performance.
  • Coordinate paid and organic campaigns: work with the team to align organic and paid campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Track key marketing metrics: prepare and report on metrics like cost-per-click, return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rates, and social media growth.
  • Coordinate marketing budget records: track expenses related to paid ads, software tools, and external services to ensure adherence to the marketing budget.
  • Competitor and market research: monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Prepare marketing reports for management: provide regular updates on campaign performance, website metrics, and social media growth to senior management.
  • Support with marketing events: assist in the planning and execution of company events, including promotions, advertisements, and social media coverage.
  • Email campaign management: manage email marketing efforts, segment audiences, and track campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with sales teams: work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts.
  • Update and maintain marketing collateral: ensure that brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials are up-to-date and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Develop KPIs to track marketing performance: work with management to establish key performance indicators for marketing initiatives and report on progress.
  • Ad-hoc marketing tasks: support any additional marketing initiatives or projects as required by the business.
  • Work with the existing team to feed into the planning, scheduling, and post content on social platforms.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of campaigns, make data-driven adjustments, and improve strategies to boost engagement.
  • Assist in the development of blog posts, email newsletters, and other promotional content, ensuring timely publication.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Business fluent in English
  • 5+ years of experience, including at least 3 years experience on the UK market (remote or on-site)
  • Relevant degree or master’s qualifications
  • Sound analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and self-management/responsible skills
  • Ability to communicate with non-marketing people to ensure a level of understanding
  • A flexible, proactive and willing approach, comfortable working within a small team
  • Project management skills to help develop our internal processes and systems to streamline the business
  • An innovative and inquisitive mind to challenge and improve existing and new processes and controls
  • Solutions-oriented and self-starter who can think on their feet
  • Have a robust and personal initiative with the ability to take ownership of tasks
  • A strong eye for design and branding consistency.
  • Competent with email and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Wix, with a basic understanding of SEO principles and familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms)
  • Experience using design software is an advantage (Adobe, Canva, etc)
  • Experience in using CRM (we use Monday.com)

Schedule and Benefits

  • Monday to Friday (UK Time), 45 hours per week
