Boekeman Machinery are seeking a Marketing & Event Co-Ordinator to join our team! The role will require travel between all sites and local communities regularly. You will play a key part in the strategic planning and execution of dynamic marketing and event initiatives to support the company’s growth objectives.

What you will be doing…
Event Co-Ordinator
- Plan, coordinate and execute engaging marketing events and campaigns, such Client Product Training events, Client Appreciation events, Demo Days, Customer Training Days, Field Days (Eg Dowerin), Grower Workshops & Community Initiatives.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and staying within financial constraints.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection and bookings, catering, audio-visual requirements, signage, and equipment rentals, invitations, registrations and post-event follow-up.
- Develop event schedules, promotional materials, and attendee communication plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver marketing content across various channels
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders to improve future event
Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the company’s brand, products, and services.
- Create content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, blogs, and print materials.
- Visit all branches to take photos, videos, drone imagery of our staff, dealership and customer machines for the above content
- Manage the company’s social media presence, ensuring consistent branding and engagement with the audience.
- Develop a Whole goods & Parts and Service Calendar Quarterly / Six Months in advance
- Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital assets.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using metrics and analytics tools, providing regular reports and recommendations.
- Maintain and update the company website with current and engaging content.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as graphic designers, printers, and media outlets, to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
What we’re looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing and event coordination, ideally within the machinery/agriculture industry, but not essential
- Proficient in using digital marketing and event management tools, software, and social media platforms.
- Creativity and flair for designing innovative campaigns and deliver engaging content and events.
- Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think quickly and resolve issues during events or campaign execution.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
