Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Marketing and Government Relations Manager to join our esteemed multi-state, not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering exceptional care to seniors. This remote position presents a unique opportunity to elevate our visibility and strengthen our reputation within the senior living industry, while positively impacting the lives of older adults across our extensive network of skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing initiatives across various digital, print, and social media channels.
- Ensure that all branding and messaging consistently reflects our mission and values.
- Oversee the development and execution of public relations and marketing projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Collaborate with marketing consultants and community representatives to address their public relations, marketing, and advocacy needs.
- Conduct or supervise market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Monitor and analyze legislative developments and regulatory changes impacting the senior living sector.
- Formulate advocacy strategies aligned with organizational goals and influence public policy.
- Foster and maintain strategic relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver reports on government relations activities and legislative developments, including their impact on operations.
- Identify potential partnership opportunities with healthcare providers and community organizations.
- Work alongside leadership to create recommendations for growth and innovation.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Federal and State regulations, including Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care requirements.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, along with an understanding of elder care regulations and practices.
- Exceptional communication abilities and fluency in English.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Political Science, Communications, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, government relations, public affairs, or a similar role, ideally within the post-acute or senior living sector.

- Competitive annual salary range of (110,000-)115,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
