Marketing Insight Officer (Temporary) My client is a leading and prestigious organisation who are currently seeking a Marketing Insight Officer to join their team based in Belfast, Coleraine or Derry/Londonderry (as agreed). This is a Full-Time, Temporary Position initially until the 31st of August 2024 (with the possibility of being extended thereafter). Working hours: 35 hours per week. Hybrid working available: mixture of office/home working with Tuesdays and Thursdays on campus and start / end times are flexible around core hours 10-12 and 2-4. With a salary of £38,273 – £45,611 per annum (dependent on experience). Closing date: Tuesday 16th July Job Role: You will be responsible for informing and enabling well evidenced decision making across a range of key commercial activities including the development and delivery of Strategic Marketing Plans, supporting Faculties and the wider company to develop propositions, manage the company Brand etc. Essential Criteria: A degree. Experience of delivering market research and customer insights from internal and external sources, which inform decision making in a commercially focused environment. Experience of creating dashboards and reporting templates to make regular, actionable MI available to stakeholders. Demonstrable experience of monitoring key trends, performing competitor and market analysis, and delivering insight to inform action planning within a business environment. Demonstrable experience of managing market research agency relationships. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel and Google Analytics. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Willingness to work sometimes out of normal office hours and occasionally at weekends to represent the company at external events within and outside of Northern Ireland. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Work with internal partners, including Strategic Marketing, PVC Education, and others to shape research briefs, and design outputs Support the commissioning of research agencies by providing a robust assessment of briefs and agency proposals Manage research agency relationships including budgets and related expenditure Design, deliver, maintain and evolve a comprehensive approach to internal delivery of marketing research, e.g. measuring customer and staff perceptions Brief stakeholder teams on the outputs of research, enabling them to develop action plans from the insights gained Work with local specialists e.g. Web Development Manager to research online customer journeys and present recommendations for action Manage projects, with support of Strategic Marketing Manager, writing questionnaires and discussion guides, checking data and results, identifying key findings, writing reports, and preparing presentations that focus on next steps Manage a busy workload, while remaining fully flexible to the needs of the organisation and agreeing prioritisation with key stakeholders Work with Strategic Marketing Managers to develop a dashboard of metrics that will enable understanding of key customer and commercial KPls Supply these dashboards to senior management on a regular basis to support decision making around strategic investment, proposition development and marketing plans
