Position Summary
We are seeking a meticulous, detail-oriented, and curious data profiler to join our data driven Eque2 team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data. Additionally, this role involves contacting stakeholders to verify and update data.
Please note that this position is a 6-month fixed-term contract, and the salary will be offered on a pro-rata basis.
Key Accountabilities:
- Data Cleaning: Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in data sets.
- Data Validation: Conduct data validation and verification processes to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Call Handling: Experience in making professional calls to verify and update information.
- Data Enrichment: Enhance and standardise data by filling in missing information and ensuring uniformity across data sets.
- Data Formatting: Standardise data formats and ensure that data is stored and presented in a consistent manner.
- Data Integration: Collaborate cross functionally to integrate cleaned data into existing systems and databases.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement data quality control measures to prevent future errors and inconsistencies.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitor activities and market positioning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in data cleaning, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Effective, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills across various stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: Remote, 1 or 2 days a month in the office.
- Hours: Full-time position with standard working hours
