The purpose of the role
The primary role of a Skills coach is to build the competence of apprentices, ensuring they progress through the apprenticeship at the expected rate. As a coach, your KPIs are focused on ensuring your apprentices progress along the curriculum and toward their Gateway and End-Point Assessment preparation.
Working in partnership with the Trainers you are responsible for contributing towards the development of knowledge, skills and behaviours of the Multi-Channel Marketer standard through scheduled monthly remote coaching sessions.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Conduct monthly skills coaching sessions for apprentices on the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship;
- Use our bespoke portfolio tracking system which reduces the time it takes to mark and give feedback, and increases the quality of feedback given
- Use our bespoke AI feedback tool which increases the quality of feedback
- Conduct quarterly progress reviews for each apprentice
- Maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment;
- Monitoring and reviewing learner welfare regularly, taking any necessary action to limit the number of early leavers from the programme;
- Supporting the development of our Multi-Channel Marketer curriculum including training materials, activities, tests, etc;
- Naturally embed Safeguarding, Prevent, British Values and EDI into skills coaching sessions;
- Ensure your own skill set is kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, and completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum in line with the apprenticeship standard you deliver;
- The successful candidate may be required to travel into our offices once a month;
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
The successful candidate must have
- A minimum of 2 years experience of work in a marketing environment;
- Excellent working knowledge of both online and offline marketing channels and tactics;
- Hold (or pass) an Enhanced CRB check;
- Willingness to work towards/hold a CIM and/or CAVA or equivalent qualifications;
- Have outstanding organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to work flexibly, adapt to different environments and solve problems independently;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage diary effectively.
