Master Data Specialist (Remote)

Job description / Role

Job Purpose

– Create and maintain material master data in SAP efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

Maintaining Data Accuracy:
– Ensures the accuracy of master data across various systems, including customer, vendor, and material data.
– Oversee the entry, update, and quality control of this information, supporting various departments in executing their functions efficiently.

Data Governance:
– Ensures data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards.

Data Records:
– Facilitating the entry of new master data records ensures that all necessary information is collected and accurately inputted into the system.

Cross-Functional Projects:
– Participate in cross-functional projects to consolidate, clean, and optimize master data across the organization.
– See the clients’ reactions and collect feedback from them.

Data Quality Checks and Audits:
– Regular data quality checks and audits help identify and correct discrepancies or inconsistencies in master data.

Reports:
– Designing and implementing custom reports and dashboards for stakeholders to monitor the health and status of master data.

Authorization:
– Raise the required authorization through the GRC system as a role officer.

– Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

– Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:
– Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:
– Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
– Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:
– Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Academic Qualification:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any relevant field.

Work Experience:
– 2 to 4 years.
