- Proactively reach out to existing clients with appropriate advertising packages, plus identify and approach suitable new clients. You will have a set number of calls and emails to achieve per week, your activity will be monitored by a sales support colleague.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through personalised communication and regular follow-ups.
- Monitor and respond to inbound sales inquiries according to our prompt sales process, taking ownership of the lead conversion and updating the CRM with interaction history.
- Research relevant industry events and exhibitions, connecting with marketing personnel of the exhibitors to identify new sales opportunities.
- Hold frequent video calls with our clients on a daily / weekly basis to promote our services, with demonstrations of our products, and to cover for sales calls for your colleagues if they are on annual leave
- Use our Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems to maintain accurate records of all your client interactions, manage the sales pipeline, and analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide weekly reports on your outreach activities, sales performance, and market feedback to the management team.
- Attend weekly sales meetings via video conference and to attend in person team meetings on a fortnightly basis at the V&A Waterfront office.
- Motivated to work independently with discipline and motivation to meet and exceed sales targets while working remotely.
- R8000 per month costs retainer, PLUS commission based on sales performance.
- You must have proven experience in sales and client acquisition, with references
- Ideal: A background in media and display advertising sales.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales outreach tools like Apollo.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a virtual team.
- Strong commitment to excellence with meticulous attention to detail.
