The Global Doorbell Manager plays a critical role in managing and scaling HelpBnk’s unique digital marketing strategy, the RING doorbell initiative. This initiative serves as a platform where individuals can pitch their business ideas through recorded video submissions, which are evaluated and promoted via our extensive digital channels.
Position Overview
The Global Doorbell Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development, operational execution, and global expansion of the RING doorbell network, both in physical installations and digital content management. This role involves managing the doorbell network, overseeing content creation and distribution, and liaising with entrepreneurial partners and internal teams to ensure successful execution of the initiative.
The role is central to the marketing team’s efforts in increasing brand visibility, driving engagement with HelpBnk’s services, and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Expansion and Hardware Management
- Lead the installation, management, and maintenance of the HelpBnk RING doorbell network across global locations.
- Develop and manage partnerships with local and regional partners for the physical installation of doorbells.
- Ensure all installations comply with local and national regulations, maintaining hardware and software stability.
- Coordinate with IT and product teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and HelpBnk’s digital platform.
2. Pitch Triage and Evaluation
- Develop clear guidance materials and instructional content for individuals submitting pitches through the doorbell system.
- Implement and manage feedback loops for individuals pitching their business ideas, including pitch evaluation frameworks.
- Oversee a triage system to assess pitches and ensure the most promising ideas receive attention and support.
3. Video Content Management
- Oversee the editing of pitch video clips according to HelpBnk’s branding and content guidelines.
- Ensure the timely upload of edited video clips to HelpBnk’s social media channels and website.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to manage ‘reaction’ video shoots with entrepreneurial partners.
- Coordinate the content calendar for pitch-related videos, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies.
4. Sales, Marketing, and Sponsorship
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to promote the doorbell initiative and integrate it into broader marketing campaigns.
- Actively seek and manage sponsorship opportunities for the doorbell initiative, aligning sponsor goals with HelpBnk’s mission.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).
5. Multi-language Coordination
- Work with HelpBnk’s content team to ensure that doorbell pitch videos are accessible to a multi-language audience through accurate translations.
- Ensure smooth integration of translated content into all distribution channels, providing a seamless user experience for global audiences.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Liaise with internal teams, including content, marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure the success of the doorbell initiative.
- Facilitate strong relationships with external partners, entrepreneurs, and clients, fostering collaboration and expanding the reach of the initiative.
Skills and Competencies
Technical & Logistical Skills
- Ability to manage both hardware and software aspects of the doorbell network.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software for managing pitch video content.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance for installation of network devices globally.
Business Acumen
- Knowledge of various business types, enabling informed decision-making during pitch evaluations.
- Sales and marketing experience within a B2B environment, with a focus on sponsorship and partner engagement.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams, external partners, and individuals pitching their ideas.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Autonomy & Initiative
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive the doorbell initiative’s development with minimal supervision.
- Creative problem-solving skills, particularly in logistical and technical challenges related to a global hardware network.

Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video content creation, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in video editing, particularly with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience working in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record in managing logistics, hardware, or technical processes.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with HelpBnk’s platform and social mission.
Reporting & Accountability
The Global Doorbell Manager will report to the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the content, product, and sales departments. Regular progress reports will be provided to senior management, particularly regarding sponsorship engagement, network expansion, and campaign performance.
