Job Description:

As a Medical Content Writer at Fluent, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the credibility and reliability of the medical content on our app, blog, newsletter and social media. You will collaborate closely with our in-house medical panel of specialists and doctors and the copy editing team to ensure that the content we provide is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly. You will be responsible for translating complex medical concepts into engaging, informative, and approachable articles that cater to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our in-house medical panel to ensure the accuracy and credibility of medical content across the app, blog, and newsletter.
• Stay current with the latest medical advancements, breakthroughs, and trends to consistently update content and provide users with the most relevant information.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging articles that effectively communicate medical information to a broad audience while avoiding jargon and complex language.
• Develop compelling content for the blog, app, social media and newsletter, focusing on health, wellness, and lifestyle topics.
• Create engaging and informative social media posts related to healthcare trends and lifestyle, aligning with popular social media trends.
• Craft content that adheres to the company’s responsible medical communication guidelines, maintaining a balance between accuracy and user-friendly language.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure content is visually appealing and aligned with the brand’s tone and messaging.
• Assist in content planning, brainstorming, and generating ideas for new articles and features.
• Implement and maintain recommended tagging systems for content.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Medical Content Writer, creating medical content for digital platforms, blogs, or publications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field. Advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD) is a plus.
• Strong background in medical knowledge, with an ability to understand and interpret complex medical concepts.
• Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in breaking down complex medical information into easily understandable, engaging content.
• Up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements, breakthroughs, and trends in the healthcare industry, wellness and lifestyle.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
