Job Summary:
The Medical Device Recruiting Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with clients in the medical device industry, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring the successful placement of qualified candidates. The role involves a combination of client relationship management, recruiting, and strategic planning to meet client needs in a highly competitive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand clients’ hiring needs, organisational culture, and industry trends to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Regularly communicate with clients to gather feedback, provide updates, and offer consultation on recruitment best practices.
2. Recruitment and Placement:
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for roles within the medical device industry, including R&D, sales, engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
- Conduct candidate interviews, assess qualifications, and ensure candidates align with client needs.
- Oversee the candidate placement process from sourcing through on boarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both client and candidate.
3. Account Management and Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow existing accounts and identify opportunities for expanding services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by developing a deep understanding of clients’ hiring needs and proposing relevant recruitment solutions.
- Prepare reports on recruitment metrics and client account activity to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
4. Market Research and Strategy:
- Stay informed about trends in the medical device industry, including regulatory changes, talent shortages, and competitive developments.
- Advise clients on market conditions and hiring trends that may affect recruitment efforts.
5. Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Partner with internal teams, including sourcing specialists, recruiters, and business development teams, to meet client hiring objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to junior recruiters or team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in recruitment or account management, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
- Proven ability to manage client accounts and achieve placement targets.
- Strong knowledge of the medical device industry, including relevant positions and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM software.
