We are seeking a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our team and help scale our platform for handling large-scale user traffic efficiently.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our bulk SMS software that handles millions of messages per day. Your role will include the following:

• Development:
• Build and maintain high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for both the frontend and backend.
• Integrate with third-party APIs (SMS gateways, payment systems, etc.).
• Implement robust features such as user authentication, SMS queue management, and analytics dashboards.
• High Traffic Management:
• Ensure the application is optimized for handling 10 lakh (1 million) users per day and the corresponding high traffic.
• Optimize the performance of the platform for quick message delivery and minimize latency.
• Implement load balancing, caching, and other techniques to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Server & Deployment:
• Manage the Windows Server environment for hosting production-level applications.
• Ensure smooth deployment of updates to production using CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production environments for uptime, stability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time to ensure system reliability.
• Configure and deploy services such as databases, Redis, message queues, etc.
• Production Support & Monitoring:
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues with production-level deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any performance issues, outages, or improvements.
• Ensure the system is robust and can handle high traffic volumes, especially for time-sensitive bulk SMS processing.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to build user-friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and optimize backend services.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and maintain best coding practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• MERN Stack:
• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Experience in developing scalable RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Windows Server & Deployment:
• Experience working with Windows Server for hosting and managing production environments.
• Familiarity with IIS (Internet Information Services) or other web servers for application hosting.
• Knowledge of deployment strategies, including using CI/CD pipelines and Docker (optional).
• Experience in managing WebSockets, load balancing, and caching systems like Redis.
• High Traffic Handling:
• Proven experience working with applications that need to handle high traffic and heavy workloads (e.g., 10 lakh+ users per day).
• Ability to optimize databases, application logic, and infrastructure to handle a large number of concurrent users efficiently.
• Experience with horizontal scaling, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• General Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent understanding of version control (Git) and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working with SMS gateways, bulk messaging platforms, or telecom-related software.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of security best practices for handling sensitive user data and high-traffic services.
