Job Summary:

Mexil Software Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, and optimise web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable and secure full-stack applications using MySQL, Express.js, React.js, Sequelize and Node.js. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers, designers, QA engineer and product managers to deliver innovative software solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development:

• Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using Next.Js and ShadCN.
• Implement responsive UI designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimise components for maximum performance across devices and browsers.

Backend Development

• Build RESTful APIs and handle server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.

Project Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Deployment & Maintenance

• Deploy applications to cloud platforms like AWS.
• Monitor application performance and address issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack web development with the MERN stack.

Proficiency in:

• Frontend: React.js, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js.
• Database: MongoDB, Mongoose, MySQL
• Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and implementation.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git is a must.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of TypeScript and modern state management tools like Redux, Context API or MobX.
• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex applications.
