Microsoft Azure Sales And Transformation Specialist | GiGa-Ops Global Solutions | India
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Sales and Transformation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with Microsoft service provider partners in the areas of sales, IT project transitioning, and digital transformation leveraging Microsoft Azure Cloud. This role will play a critical part in driving successful cloud adoption, scaling cloud solutions, and transitioning enterprise IT projects to the Azure environment, in collaboration with Microsoft partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities related to Microsoft Azure services.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with Microsoft service provider partners and customers.
- Collaborate with partner teams to align customer needs with Microsoft Azure offerings.
- Create and execute sales strategies, presenting Azure solutions to clients for digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and develop pricing strategies that align with customer needs and Microsoft partner offerings.
- IT Project Transitioning:
- Lead the seamless transition of IT projects from legacy systems to the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external Microsoft partners to manage and execute cloud migration projects.
- Design and implement detailed transition plans, including timeline, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure successful onboarding, adoption, and optimization of Azure cloud services during the project transition.
- Cloud Transformation:
- Drive cloud transformation projects by integrating Microsoft Azure services into the customer’s existing IT architecture.
- Assess customer environments and provide customized solutions for digital transformation on the Azure platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their cloud journey, including infrastructure modernization, application migration, and automation.
- Support partners and clients in cloud optimization, cost control, and ongoing service management post-transition.
- Collaboration and Partner Management:
- Work closely with Microsoft service provider partners to align resources, create synergies, and accelerate customer cloud journeys.
- Stay up-to-date with Azure product releases, competitive offerings, and industry trends to provide relevant advice and solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to provide feedback, escalate issues, and enhance the quality of cloud services delivered.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, transitioning, or transformation roles related to Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
- Strong experience working with Microsoft service provider partners in a customer-facing capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals, managing cloud projects, and driving IT transformation initiatives.
- Skills:
- Strong Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to sell Microsoft Azure solutions and close large deals.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Project Management: Solid project management skills, with experience in managing IT project transitions to cloud environments.
- Transformation Expertise: Ability to understand complex IT infrastructures and recommend appropriate Azure solutions for digital transformation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
