Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage critical applications for end-user computing through Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager.
- Ensure the upkeep of computer hardware and software in multiple environments, including classrooms, conference rooms, and labs.
- Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade both Apple and PC-compatible hardware, printers, and peripherals, including vendor collaboration for parts and warranty replacements.
- Provide advanced technical support to Help Desk staff and end-users via various communication channels, documenting and resolving complex issues effectively.
- Manage inventory and tools essential for support services while efficiently preparing and deploying computing resources.
- Mentor, supervise, and assess student staff, sharing your valuable expertise.
- Stay informed on virus and malware prevention techniques, collaborating with management to enforce desktop security policies.
- Enhance customer service for all community members, continuously aiming for improved user satisfaction.
- Innovate solutions to technical challenges, boosting the efficiency of endpoint administration processes.
- Lead special projects related to endpoint administration, showcasing strong planning and execution capabilities.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune and endpoint administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and best practices for endpoint security.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Capability to manage Intune applications and configurations effectively.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to undertake physical tasks related to hardware installation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in endpoint administration, specifically with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience in packaging and deploying applications using Intune or similar tools.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate, are advantageous.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a background check upon acceptance.
