About The Role

The Senior Business Process Consultant plays a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and redesigning business processes to enhance efficiency and performance. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, mapping out end-to-end processes, and identifying areas for improvement. The consultant provides strategic guidance and implements best practices to support digital transformation initiatives, particularly in aligning business processes with technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium projects, lead sub-projects o Independently conduct complex process analyses, independently optimize and develop complex processes
• Independently analyze complex requirements and create and coordinate complex solution designs / functional concepts
• Coordinate user testings with customers and trading partners
• Independently carry out internal VW FS coordination, e.g. with relevant specialist departments, as well as external VW FS coordination, e.g. with OEM brands
• Identify process changes with great benefit or cost potential and show synergies
• Commission implementation measures
• Accompany IT development and testing and accept implementations in accordance with the described acceptance criteria
• Plan, organize and conduct meetings and workshops
• Prepare and participate in committees
• Document acceptance in corresponding QM tools
• Take over analysis and risk management in any projects
• Independently create extensive business cases (feasibility and economic analyses)
• Create project, implementation and procedure documentation in accordance with VW FS standards
• Proven experience as a project manager with strong project management skills.
• Extensive experience as a business analyst or process modeler, focusing on end-to-end online sales and financial service platforms.
• Proficient in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in business process analysis and modeling techniques.
• Experience in digitization projects and user-focused software development, with a solid understanding of IT systems and user experience.
• Knowledge of API standards (REST, GraphQL) and tools like Swagger and Postman is a plus.
• Familiarity with service design, design thinking, and tools like Visio, Draw.io, Balsamiq, or Sketch is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and “hands-on” approach to work.
• Experience in the car financing, leasing, and insurance industries; knowledge of the related organizational structure.
