Mid Fullstack Developer (Remote)

As a full stack developer on our team, you will be converting an accessible, responsive web application for managing fleet fuel cards from a JSP-based full-page refresh model to a Single Page App using Angular, TypeScript and RxJS. You may also be involved in extending and enhancing our in-house component library, which is based on Prime NG.

Your focus will be on the front end, but you may also work on the back end to add or enhance REST API support for converted pages using Java and Spring, as well as integrating with microservices provided by other teams. You may also need to work with SQL in the data access layer.

You will be joining a team of integrated engineers and product owners who have a passion for creating elegant and robust solutions for our customers. You will leverage the latest technology to improve the quality, stability and performance of our apps.

Experience you’ll bring

• BS in an engineering field OR can make us feel intensely confident that you don’t need one
• Good experience developing applications with Angular and Typescript
• Good experience with REST API development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have experience with observables and RxJS a strong plus
• Have experience with Java a strong plus
• Have experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot a plus
• Have experience with AWS, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker a plus
• Have experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins a plus
• Have experience working on an Agile team with a tracking tool such as JIRA a plus
• Have experience with databases and SQL a plus
