Middle Devops Engineer (Remote)

MIF Projects is a leading software research and development company specializing in delivering custom digital solutions for clients across various industries. As we continue to grow, we are looking now for a Middle DevOps Engineer to work within our team on a project in the charity domain.

Project Overview:

A project is in the field of charity. It is an existing product that is currently in use. It has a client part, with the help of which you can make donations to various charitable projects, both one-time as well as regular payments.

The task is to modernize the system and rebuild the web platform to a service-based architecture. Assistance in developing an architecture that meets the needs of the project and its further implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

– Implementation, maintenance and optimization of cloud infrastructures (AWS);

– Implementation of CI/CD pipelines;

– Configuration of load balancing systems for critical services;

– Monitoring and ensuring security of network infrastructure;

– Maintenance of the AWS environment (dev, beta, staging, production).

Qualifications:

– 3+ years of experience as DevOps;

– Strong experience of building and maintaining AWS infrastructure:

– AWS Services: API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudFront, CloudWatch, EC2, ECS, ECR, IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, Fargate, Route53, Cognito (doesn’t need to be an integrator but understand the basics);

– Infrastructure deployment: AWS CDK in Python;

– AWS Lambda deployment: SAM Deploy;

– Other applications build and deployment: Github Actions, DataDog;

– Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Github Actions);

– Hands-on database servers administration;

– Knowledge of scripting languages (Python);

– Experience with Jira and Confluence;

– At least Intermediate English level;

– Ability to contribute effectively as a member of a team and work cohesively as a part of a team;

– Possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
