A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Account Manager to support our NSW Mining business. Reporting to the Mining Sales Lead – NSW, VIC, TAS & NZ, this role will see you working with some large “total supply” mining operations to deliver efficient lubricant solutions and superior customer support.
The successful candidate could be based in various regional NSW areas, such as Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central West, and North West NSW.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Developing sales and providing on-site front-line support with the existing client base.
- Providing strong account management and leadership on site.
- Identifying and pursuing new mining business opportunities in your designated area.
- Successfully achieving the pre-determined key performance measures for each customer.
- Technical Selling across a broad product range.
- Travel regularly throughout the territory, covering key locations such as Mudgee, Parkes, Orange, Cobar, and Broken Hill (Central and Western NSW).
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or trade background (preferred).
- At least 5 years relevant industry experience, familiarity with mining industry.
- On-road sales experience / strongly developed solutions-based sales approach.
- Mechanical or technical aptitude.
- Strong technical and sales expertise, with a focus on problem-solving.
- Highly motivated and driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel on a regular basis (time away from home).
