About The Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Mobile QA Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who can focus on the finer details while keeping the bigger picture in mind, someone who understands the complexities of mobile application testing and can simplify and organize them effectively. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and teach new mobile technologies, stays on the cutting edge of mobile app development processes, and strives to improve efficiency for their team and department.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of experience in QA roles with a focus on mobile applications
• Preparing, documenting, and executing test cases based on Business & Functional Requirements to ensure comprehensive testing of mobile features and functionality, including both manual and automated testing
• Reviewing mobile software requirements, creating test plans, and developing test cases specific to mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
• Performing a variety of testing activities, including functional, non-functional, automated, performance, smoke, and regression testing specifically for mobile apps
• Knowledge of mobile security standards, threat assessments, and secure programming methodologies for mobile applications
• Strong team player, with experience in an agile environment, actively contributing to team culture and improving product value
• Fluent in English: reading, writing, and speaking

Desired Skills

• Experience working in Product Teams focusing on delivering value
• Experience using Gherkin syntax to create test cases
• Experience working in Agile environments like Scrum, Kanban, etc
• Proven experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
• Automation knowledge using Playwright and Maestro UI for automation
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, AssertThat, VSCode, Github, and other testing tools
