Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of affordable housing projects, overseeing all elements from design conception through construction completion.
- Partner with the real estate development team to establish project objectives, budgets, timelines, and quality benchmarks, while assessing and mitigating risks.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and analyze zoning and regulatory requirements to facilitate project planning.
- Coordinate RFQ and RFP preparations, manage consultant selection processes, and liaise with third-party professionals, including architects and general contractors.
- Drive the design process, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Supervise the construction phase, tracking project advancement, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely execution within established financial constraints.
- Uphold rigorous standards in documentation, budget management, and quality assurance throughout all project phases.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide consistent updates to clients and stakeholders, and maintain transparent communication across all teams.
- Act as an innovative leader, promoting continuous improvement and forward-thinking methodologies.
- Execute site visits, oversee vendor and subcontractor activities, manage project milestones, and perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in multifamily or commercial projects; experience in affordable housing is advantageous.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated success in delivering intricate projects within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Strong grasp of project planning and management methodologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to lead and collaborate effectively within a team framework.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
