We design, install, and maintain all types of automatically operating fire extinguishing systems and electronically activated fire detection and alarm systems for large projects through to servicing small standalone products. Role Requirements

Sprinkler Service Engineer

• Must have experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets – Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action.
• Must be able to carry out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks.
• Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified would be desirable but not essential.
• Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems – essential.
• Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment.
• Experienced in small works install.
• Understanding and exposure to reporting electronically.

This role would suit a Service Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Commercial Sprinkler Engineer, Sprinkler Service Maintenance Engineer.

Fire Alarm Service/Commissioning Engineers

• Will carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance and commissioning of our clients’ Fire detection, Emergency lighting and associated systems along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up to date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential.
• Will work with and under instruction from Service Team Members, complying with work instructions, company policies and Health and Safety procedures.
• Will maintain a working knowledge of simple circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary.
• Regular routine servicing and reactive maintenance of our clients’ Fire Alarm and associated systems.
• With relevant training, commission our clients’ Fire Alarm and associated systems.
• Maintain an accurate and high standard of all documentation and electronic records.
• Undertake ‘On-Call’ duties as part of your team.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
• Will need proven experience in Fire Alarm systems maintenance.
• FIA or equivalent training would be desirable but not essential.

Fire Pump Service Engineers

• Carry out pre-planned maintenance works to Sprinkler Fire Pumps to relevant standards.
• Understand fire panels, and sprinkler systems including pumps and diesel engines.
• Be able to assist other engineers in carrying out repairs and fault find on fire sprinkler pumps.
• Be able to carry out repairs to rotating equipment to a high standard.
• Complete electronic job reports on each inspection/breakdown.
• Ideally you will have experience of or working knowledge of Sprinkler Fire Pumps.
• Experience of working with diesel engines.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds – Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance related field would be desirable but not essential.
