Role Summary

As the National Account Sales Manager for Food Service, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing strategies aimed at enhancing our product sales within key food service channel accounts and distributors. This newly created position is ideal for an entrepreneurial spirit eager to help establish our brand’s footprint in the food service and alternate channels. You will benefit from a strong support system, including a dedicated broker team and collaborative internal efforts to drive your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify high-value accounts within food service and alternate channels such as restaurants, hotels, universities, and corporate offices.
- Formulate a strategic sales plan to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to expand your key account portfolio and achieve growth milestones.
- Relay customer insights and market trends to internal stakeholders to inform strategies.
- Analyze and optimize business performance, focusing on conversion rates, profit margins, and effective broker/distributor partnerships.
- Elevate our brand presence by participating in trade shows and networking events.
- Potentially manage the P&L for the food service and alternate channel operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/business development, particularly within food service wholesale distribution.
- Proven expertise in managing and collaborating with food service brokers and distributors.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a focus on building trust-based relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of the food service industry, especially concerning national accounts.
- Experience with P&L management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Authentic enthusiasm for our brand and products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
