Responsibilities:
Manage the Auto Retail product portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact with
the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies to grow the business, identifying opportunities for
expansion and increased market share.
Coordinate new product introductions with the customer, working closely with cross-
functional teams to ensure successful product launches and maximize sales
potential.
Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, Product Management, and Account
Services to align on goals, objectives, and strategies, and provide regular updates on
account performance.
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, analyzing sales data, market
trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for improvement and drive
business growth.
Effectively communicate market insights, customer feedback, and account-specific
requirements to internal teams, facilitating effective decision-making and solution
development.
Monitor and manage account profitability, pricing strategies, and promotional
activities to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics,
leveraging this knowledge to drive proactive account management and identify new
business opportunities.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of auto retail channel, with a track record of successfully
managing and growing sales at national key account customer.
Experience in selling to large retail chain.
Ideally 2+ years national account management experience within the Canadian
Retail Space. Past experience in the Automotive Retail Channel a benefit but not
required.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability
to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans, including new
item introductions and promotional strategies.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial
metrics to drive business growth.
Proficient in using CRM systems, MS Office suite, particularly Excel and
PowerPoint.
Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed to meet with clients and attend industry
events.
Ability to also converse in French an asset, but not required.
