GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The National Accounts Manager, Foodservice is an important contributor to the overall success of the Alt Channel team. You will be responsible for successfully implementing our newly minted Foodbuy contract while also focusing on growing our overall foodservice business through new distribution and end-user accounts.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Execute our Foodbuy contract with focus on B&I/Vending, Leisure, and C&U.

·      Play a key leadership role in hunting and closing new distribution with end-user commercial accounts.

·      Utilize internal and external sales reporting tools to develop strategies and plans that improve brand awareness and go-to-market initiatives.

·      Facilitate, resolve, and field questions from foodservice customers.

·      Actively listen, probe, and identify customer concerns, understand the customers’ business and then translate into segment and/or market needs.

·      Effectively organize and communicate information across internal teams to ensure accurate forecasting for new opportunities.

·      Organize and lead customer meetings.

·      Collaboratively work with the Alt Channels Sales Director and the VP of Sales to profitably grow company revenue.

·      Must be willing to travel 50% to work with brokers in-market, attend tradeshows, customer meetings, and others as dictated by the needs of the customer.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

·      Bachelor’s degree required.

Business development experience of at least 3-5 years and experience working in small, BFY brands.

·      Understanding how to effectively implement a GPO contract (i.e. Foodbuy, Aramark, Sodexo, Guckenheimer, etc.)

·      Significant and proven sales experience required within the foodservice industry, specifically working with the top broadline distributors achieving sales growth year-over-year.

·      Experience managing broker partners to maximize sales and negotiate distributor marketing programs.

·      Comfortable bringing your authentic self to work.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 

·      Salary of $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
