National Key Account Manager
General Description:
– Experienced and ambitious sales professional, to lead one of the Pharmacy Key Accounts in KSA, by developing & implementing the right sales strategies and plans that will achieve the company’s objectives and satisfy the customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Deliver monthly and annual New Sales target by brand/franchise.
– Develop and lead Joint Business Plan to achieve targeted growth in Sell-In, Sell-Out, Market Share, E-Commerce, Stock Coverage and Service Level.
– Reconcile monthly statement of account to ensure on time collection.
– List new product and re-innovations offline & online on time with managing stock level at the retailer, ensure availability during transition phase.
– Manage hard conversions and soft conversions projects.
– Developing joint Score Card with Key Accounts to track KPIs monthly and measure performance and reflect on the right action plan.
– Create an annual promo plan & activation for monthly and quarterly events and ensure participation with the right brands/segments.
– Monitor promotional spending & other investments vs. budget to ensure no overspending at any point of time.
– Release monthly, quarterly & annual rebates on time and sure reconciliation with Key Account to avoid discrepancies.
– Negotiate annual contract rebates, discounts, margins, stock level agreements with Key Account stakeholders.
– Create and update online content for new/existing products & ensure descriptions, features & benefits, photos, usage, caution and A+ contents are available.
– Conduct monthly review with Key Account category management & buying teams to review performance and take the needed actions.
– Participate in monthly forecast meetings to review demand based on sell-out, stock level and reflect on sell-in accordingly.
– Report competitive activities such as new launches, promotions, activations, re-innovations, and work on defense plans accordingly.
– Communicate opportunities, risk & challenges to direct manager, internal stakeholders and set expectations to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
– 5-8 years of experience in the FMCG industry
– Saudi National Preferred
– Knowledge of Pharmacy Channel
– Previously managed Pharma Key Accounts
– Fluent in English & Arabic
– Experience in Dermatology is a plus.
