Role Overview
As the National Accounts Manager for Foodservice Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies aimed at boosting sales within leading foodservice accounts and distributors. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial self-starter to cultivate customer relationships, oversee sales brokers and distributors, and establish our brand footprint from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify high-impact accounts in the foodservice and alternate channels, including restaurants, hotels, universities, and offices.
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve targeted sales and gross margin goals.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and marketing teams to expand the key account portfolio and meet growth objectives.
- Communicate customer insights and market trends to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze business performance continuously, focusing on conversion funnels, margins, and broker/distributor management.
- Represent our brand at trade shows and partnership events to enhance brand visibility.
- Potentially manage the P&L for the foodservice and alternate channel.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/business development with a comprehensive understanding of the foodservice wholesale distribution landscape.
- Proven expertise in managing and collaborating with foodservice brokers and distributors.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of building trust-based relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of the foodservice industry, specifically concerning national accounts.
- Experience with direct P&L management.
- Strong multitasking capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset while managing multiple priorities independently.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent business experience.
- Willingness to travel as required.
