Job Overview
We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to help launch Blu Element into the US market. With over 5 millions products sold in Canada, Blu Element is looking to expand beyond the border and we need a highly experienced candidate to support the project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the business development strategies within the US market by leveraging existing connections for past experience. There will be clear and measurable KPIs set on a quarterly basics in-which results will need to be delivered on.

We are a tech accessory brand that develops phone cases, screen protectors, and charging products based on three principles, reliability, efficiently, and accessibility. With a strong focus on the retail channel we are soon approaching our 5 millionth product sold milestone, cue the champagne!

Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Analysis
Identify Key Retail Partners: Focus on Verizon stores, regional carriers, and key dealers who align with Blu Element’s product offerings.Map out potential retail partners across the US that match the brand’s target demographics and values.

Competitive Analysis: Assess competitor pricing, product features, and market positioning to differentiate Blu Element effectively.

2. Leverage Relationship Network

Utilize Existing Connections: Engage with your extensive network of buyers and owners within Verizon and regional carriers/dealers.Schedule meetings and product demos to introduce Blu Element’s offerings, emphasizing the unique selling propositions (USPs).

Strategic Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with key players who can facilitate quicker market entry and increase brand visibility.Negotiate favorable terms with distributors and retailers to ensure Blu Element’s products are prioritized.

3. Assortment & Channel Strategy

Product Assortment Planning: Collaborate with Blu Element HQ and US 3PL/distributors to curate a product assortment tailored to the US market.Focus on high-demand products like phone cases, screen protectors, and power accessories that meet local preferences.

Channel Placement: Work closely with US distributors to ensure products are placed in the right channels to maximize reach.Target both brick-and-mortar stores and online platforms to create a balanced distribution strategy.

4. Pricing Strategy & USPs Refinement

Competitive Pricing: Collaborate with the Blu Element team to refine pricing strategies that reflect the value of the products while remaining competitive.Consider offering tiered pricing or promotional discounts to drive initial adoption in the US market.

Highlight Unique Selling Propositions (USPs): Clearly define and communicate Blu Element’s USPs, such as product durability, design, and customer service.Tailor marketing messages to resonate with US consumers, focusing on how Blu Element products enhance and personalize their digital lifestyle.

6. Monitoring & Sell-through

Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with US retailers and customers to continuously improve product offerings and customer experience.Adjust the strategy based on real-time feedback to ensure sustained growth and market penetration.

7. Long-Term Growth Planning

Expand Distribution: After establishing the initial 100-200 doors, plan for expansion into additional retail outlets and regions. Consider partnerships with larger retailers

Brand Building: Continue building brand recognition and loyalty in the US through consistent marketing efforts and high-quality product offerings.

Experience
– Proven experience in business development, account management, and leadership within the US wireless accessory industry
– Strong background in technical sales and market analysis
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Ability to drive a high-performance sales culture
