Are you a skilled 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer with a passion for learning new technologies, great leadership, and at least 2+ years’ experience in using RMM technologies?

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years’ experience with Helpdesks, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Integration of Hardware & Software solutions.

This is a permanent office-based opportunity, working in a vibrant, inclusive, and friendly office environment. A salary of £40,000-£45,000 is on offer in a progressive environment.

All candidates must have the full right to work in the UK, as sponsorship will not be offered.

Main duties will include

This position will sit between the CTO & Tech Support Manager to support both internal IT & their clients.

This is a hands-on role, seeking Level 3 Engineers that will cover the following:

  • Dealing with 1st & 2nd line assigned tickets, providing support via RMM tools
  • Troubleshoot, fix, and escalate incidents as required, ensuring they are resolved within customer service level agreements
  • Monitor networks and provide guidance on security risks and improvements
  • Administrate instances on Azure and AWS
  • Log all customer contact in the support ticketing system, maintaining complete information
  • Develop strong product and business expertise of AutoTask/Datto products
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to manage customer interactions

What skills will you have?

  • Level 3 Engineer background
  • Experience in managing and responding to multiple issues at the same time
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in using RMM technologies
  • At least 3+ years’ experience with Helpdesks, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Virtual Server environments on MS Hypervisor & VMWare
  • Expertise with Windows Server Operating Systems & 2nd Line Support
  • Expertise with Security audits, firewalls, switches, end-point security, and infrastructure management
