An Australian Federal Government agency seeks multiple skilled and experienced .NET C# Developers to contribute to the development and enhancement of complex systems. These roles focus on transforming legacy systems into integrated, modern, and efficient cloud-based solutions. The successful .NET C# Developers will be offered a competitive remuneration package, tailored to their qualifications, skills, and experience, with options for non-ongoing or ongoing arrangements.

The successful .NET C# Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions using C# .NET Core and related technologies, while adhering to best practices for code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate within agile teams to analyse legacy systems and design, develop, and integrate modern solutions, ensuring alignment with requirements and coordination with all relevant stakeholders. 
• Conduct analysis of upgrade paths, enhancements, and effort estimates; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth functionality and system reliability.
• Adhere to the change management, security, release, and maintenance policies, including ITIL framework; participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers as needed.

To be successful, the .NET C# Developers must have/ be experienced in the following:

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a senior C# .NET Core developer, including web application development, API creation, cloud integration (Azure/AWS), and applying software design patterns. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and database design (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Expertise in microservices architecture, containerization, cloud platforms, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ability to understand complex technical environments, design robust solutions, and solve problems effectively.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, with experience collaborating in geographically dispersed teams is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills demonstrated through achieving business and technical objectives.
