Netsuite Principal Functional Consultant (Remote)

Anthesis is a fast paced and growing business, and this role is an exciting opportunity for someone to grow with the business. As controls are not yet fully established across the group, it will require a proactive self-starter who has the ability and desire to drive positive change. The role will also require someone who is happy and comfortable rolling up their sleeves and being in the detail. 

The Finance Systems Team is going through a transformation agenda which means this role will be working on exciting new projects alongside maintaining day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment. 

Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, the Principal Functional Consultant will work closely with the whole Finance team, IT and across the wider business so that the system architecture across the business supports the requirements of the Finance team. 

This is a newly created role and, as such, will provide you with the opportunity to influence and develop the utilization of NetSuite as a core Finance system and define any additional requirements for developing technologies that can support the growth of the company while ascertain and implement best practices within NetSuite. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with process owners and end users to comprehend their business processes and requirements. 
• Lead and participate in all stages of Netsuite internal implementation projects and Change Requests: 
• Onboarding of new Subsidiaries into NetSuite, 
• Designing customized solutions, 
• Implementing 3rd party applications. 
• Assess the progress of the internal projects and Change Requests and keep stakeholders informed across the business of key dates, potential challenges or any risks that could occur. 
• Collaborate with the team to Develop, test and deploy custom solutions including fields, forms, workflows, custom records and user roles to meet business requirements. 
• Create and maintain documentation for NetSuite customizations including SOPs, FDDs, User Guides and Release Notes. 
• Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement & efficiency 
• Support the Finance Systems Support team with resolution of complex tickets and coordinate with NetSuite support on issues that cannot be resolved internally. 
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate head. 

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• With 5+ years of previous End-To-End NetSuite implementation experience 
• NetSuite certifications 
• Workload management and problem-solving skills 
• Understanding of business processes and challenges 
• Understanding of NetSuite Best Practices 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus 
• Proactive self-starter with first class organizational ability, who is detail oriented, and results focused, and able to oversee and support the financial administration of several projects at once 
• Proactive and a committed team player 
• Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision 
• Can work on flexible hours to support global teams in many time zones, meet changing work environment and manage tight deadlines
