This senior-level consulting position provides quality and innovative solution leadership to the NetSuite practice through guiding project teams to deliver NetSuite solutions within constraints of time and budget, leading customers to ensure proper use of NetSuite environments, designing and optimizing solutions for integrations and customizations, and resolving complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions that include NetSuite and 3rd-party solutions. Ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of technical consulting or business application development experience, including 5+ years of NetSuite experience, and can demonstrate expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families. Must possess ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make solution design decisions based on impact across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business needs to help ensure NetSuite solution meets the customers’ objectives by combining industry standard methodologies, product knowledge, and business acumen.
• Works with customers to review technical feature gaps that may arise and devises appropriate solutions across the NetSuite ecosystem with performance and scalability in mind.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to deliver technical solutions on non-routine and complex aspects of applications and technology installations.
• Oversees customization and integration development efforts by project team, conducts design and code review, coach technical consultants and developers to adhere to quality standards on process and delivery.
• Assist consultants to address customer issues during and after implementation project; may recommend non-native NetSuite solutions include customizations and third-party solutions.
• Provides guidance to project team and customers to ensure appropriate and long-term scalable use of NetSuite and third-party applications.
• Develops and establishes procedures and standards for project management, customization development, integration installation, data migration, production cut-over.
• Ensures NetSuite practice expertise and its solutions are leveraged across customers and other lines of business when required.
• Initiates and manages initiatives to design, develop and deploy product-grade custom applications that enhances and expands functionalities of NetSuite
• Serves as thought leader within the practice to ensure new product technical changes and capabilities are understood and adopted by fellow consultants and customers.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to be self-directed, multi-task, and lead others with minimal supervision
• Minimum of 10 years of technical consulting or ERP solution development experience
• Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite technical consulting experience
• Minimum of 5 full-cycle NetSuite implementations that includes customization or integration work
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficient at getting hands-on with technology and presenting concepts effectively at various levels internally or with customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in business requirements analysis, solution design, data analysis and production issue resolution
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: performance, integrations, technical architecture or software development
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end business process flows
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and rapport with team members and customers

Required hands-on experience

• Work close with consultants and customers in understanding, analyzing and documenting business requirements for the purpose of designing custom software solutions
• Design, develop and deploy customizations on NetSuite platform, as well as integration with its 3rd-party applications, to meet customer business requirements
• Use SuiteScript code to customize NetSuite features like forms, fields, workflows, reports, dashboards, and record types
• Enhance performance and scalability of NetSuite, related customizations and 3rd-party applications by orchestrating and executing load and performance testing, adjusting system configurations and tuning of SQL statements and other custom code
• Configuration and tuning of integration platforms, which may include Boomi, Celigo, Mulesoft, Oracle Data Integrator, and Workato
• Data modeling, SaaS/Cloud and Oracle database architecture
• ODBC / JDBC data extraction strategy, design and tuning
• Design, develop and deploy product-grade custom solutions on NetSuite platform or on other platforms that integrates with NetSuite

Desired experience

• Software development life cycle (SDLC) for business applications
• Release management and/or Agile scrum master
• Developing and optimizing NetSuite SuiteTalk, SOAP integrations, or REST integrations
• Use of ETL tools and integration / data migration techniques
• Collaborating with NetSuite or other SDN partners in developing certified SuiteApps
