The company and role

A rare opportunity to join a market leading, prestigious financial services organisation. You’ll be responsible for delivery of high quality, reliable and secured network connectivity. maintaining and improving the data centre network, internet environments, network security and service provider network infrastructure.
 
What you will be doing:

• Support  core network, including data centre, internet, office, service provider network, network monitoring and security. 
• Resolve incidents, problems and change requests to required service level targets.
• Operate within ITIL service management processes including incident, problem and change management
• Liaise between the customer, stakeholders and infrastructure to provide innovative solutions for internal and external customers.
• Management of network infrastructure including monitoring and capacity planning.
• Assist in the deployment of networks to support backend projects.

What you will bring:

• Solid Experience in Cisco and Arista Switching/Wireless networking technologies.
• EVPN, VRF, MPLS, NAT, QoS and VPN knowledge.
• Experience working on network routing technologies. (Static/RIP/OSPF/BGP).
• Experience working on F5 technologies (LTM, GTM, APM and ASM).
• Design, support and upgrade of F5 physical and virtual devices.
• Experience working on Palo Alto Security technologies.
• Knowledge and support of operating systems – Windows / Linux
• Scripting skills.
