Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop innovative algorithms for remote sensor data exploitation.
- Demonstrate expertise in Python and C++, showcasing strong software design and architecture abilities.
- Create proof-of-concept tools for signal processing and image processing, utilizing Python.
- Enhance Python-based tools that support machine learning, modeling, and simulation tasks.
- Assess the performance and quality of algorithms and sensor systems.
- Collaborate within an Agile team environment, contributing to shared development tools.
- Execute additional responsibilities as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
- Strong software design and architecture skills.
- Experience with signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Ability to evaluate algorithm performance and sensor system quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with C++, Python, and Linux operating systems (education may be considered in lieu of some experience).
- Proven experience working with OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other remote sensing data.
- Full-time availability to work on-site in Boulder, CO.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation And Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of (117,000 – )168,000 per year, taking into account factors such as role responsibilities, experience, and education.
