Office Manager (Remote)

Join our dynamic New York based company as a Remote Office Manager, where your primary role will be to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our online resale operations. Our company specializes in refurbishing returned items and reselling them across platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of virtual assistants who handle P&L statements, product listings, and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure products are listed accurately and sold effectively across multiple ecommerce platforms.
• Conduct cold calls to potential clients and partners, pitching products and driving new business opportunities.
• Manage customer return negotiations, applying discounts judiciously to maximize resale value.
• Delegate tasks clearly and monitor their execution to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
• Maintain and possibly innovate new systems for task management, moving away from Asana if necessary.
• Utilize SellerCloud software to manage inventory and oversee postings, ensuring seamless operation (training provided if necessary).

Ideal Profile

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar leadership role within the ecommerce industry.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart, with a focus on maximizing sales and operational efficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a remote team effectively.
• Independent self-starter with the capability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
• Excels in team dynamics and has a patient managerial style.
