About the Role
We are seeking an Operational Risk Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team to support in the maintenance of our group enterprise risk management framework at a global level and expanding the framework to our Spanish company Moneyfiesta at a local level. The role will include performing ongoing operational risk assessments, audits and reports. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders across all areas of the group, you will support the Head of Risk, Data Protection and Information Security Management Systems who is based in London, in the maintenance of our global group risk register and at a local level.

Your Role:

• Provide risk management guidance to the team, business units and management.
• Develop, review and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and processes.
• Conduct risk reviews, monitoring, and surveillance to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Generate internal management reports on risk-related activities and develop risk governance documentation.
• Manage the risk register and work with departments to identify and assess risks, incidents, and breaches.
• Assist with the escalation, root cause analysis and remediation of operational risks and data breaches.
• Assist in the development and delivery of risk management training.
• Ensure risk management is a core consideration in product development and governance.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s governance approach.
• Influence the development of a risk-aware culture at senior levels and within teams.
• Support the firm’s operational resilience strategy

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in enterprise risk management in the financial services industry.
• Detail oriented with excellent reporting skills.
• Solid understanding of enterprise risk management, with an ability to understand gaps and controls of different departments, experience and confidence in using different risk elicitation techniques.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality, capable of handling sensitive and confidential data and information.
• Confident with relationship building at all levels of an organisation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
