Job Summary
Parakeet is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing and optimizing operational processes, and collaborating closely with customers to understand and fulfill their needs. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset to drive operational excellence and support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- RFP Management:
- Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including solicitation, preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Analyze RFP requirements and develop strategies to position Parakeet competitively.
- Maintain a repository of RFPs and track status to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
- Process Development and Optimization:
- Design, implement, and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct process mapping and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, requirements, and pain points.
- Facilitate meetings, interviews, and surveys to gather comprehensive customer insights.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable recommendations for product and service enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Utilize data visualization tools to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure cohesive operations.
- Support project management initiatives and contribute to the successful execution of company projects.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Experience:
3+ years of experience in operations analysis, business analysis, or a similar role. Experience managing RFPs and developing operational processes is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with CRM and project management software (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

- Knowledge of RFP software and platforms.
