Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Operations to join our dynamic team at Delano Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the overall operations of our organization, ensuring excellence in service delivery, financial performance, and team management.
– Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
– Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and industry standards
– Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and manage resources to optimize profitability while maintaining service excellence
– Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
– Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance operational effectiveness
– Collaborate with other executives to align operational strategies with overall business objectives
– Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to streamline operations and increase productivity
– Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service quality and addressing any issues promptly
– Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain competitiveness
– Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and clients
– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in operational activities.
Requirements:
– Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a senior operational management role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
– Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial management and performance optimization
– Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
– Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
– Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively
– Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and cost control
– Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
– Experience in implementing and managing operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
– Adaptability to changing market conditions and the ability to drive innovation in operational processes
– Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operational management and data analysis
– Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
– Experience in the luxury hospitality sector is highly desirable
