Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Lead to join our founding team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the business strategy. The Ops Lead will work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to develop the business model, establish operational processes, build strategic partnerships, and drive the company’s growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Strategy Development:
• Collaborate with the executive team to refine the company’s business plan and revenue model.
• Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to position competitively.
• Lead the development of go-to-market strategies and expansion plans.
• Operational Leadership:
• Design and implement scalable operational processes across all functional areas, including supply chain management, customer onboarding, and support.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Partnership and Supplier Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with DME suppliers and manufacturers to secure favorable terms and reliable product availability.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all operational activities comply with federal and state regulations related to DME dispensing.
• Collaborate with legal advisors and compliance officers to navigate licensing and accreditation processes.
• Team Building and Management:
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing operations team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Financial Oversight:
• Work with to develop budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize cost structures.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and funding strategies.
• Technology and Platform Development Support:
• Ensure the platform meets operational needs and supports business objectives.
• Provide input on features and functionalities that enhance user experience and efficiency.
• Sales and Marketing Collaboration:
• Support sales and marketing efforts by providing operational insights and customer feedback.
• Participate in key client meetings and presentations as needed.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations, business development, or a similar leadership role within a startup or fast-growing company.
• Proven track record of successfully scaling operations in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically with DME, healthcare technology, or supply chain management, is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R45 000,00 – R48 000,00 per month
