The Role

As an Operations Manager at Deepgram PH, you will oversee the operational framework for our transcription services. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring optimal team performance, and enhancing cross-departmental collaboration. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high-quality output, reducing operational costs, and supporting our continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Strategy: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans that align with company goals, focusing on cost optimization and maintaining high accuracy and efficiency levels in transcription services.
• Performance Management: Design and implement performance management frameworks. Oversee performance appraisals, compensation planning, and the management of incentive programs to motivate and align team members with company objectives​.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage and coach the operations team to meet performance targets. Conduct regular 1-on-1 sessions, implement Personal Development Plans (PDPs), and address any behavioral or performance-related concerns​.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of operational tasks through robust process management. Utilize tools such as Asana and Slack for effective task management and communication.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US and the Philippines to achieve shared objectives. Prepare and present reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing overall team performance. Encourage the exploration of new verticals and business opportunities​.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5-7 years in operations management, ideally in transcription or labeling industries​.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing remote teams to achieve performance goals across multiple locations​.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
• Project Management: Proficient in the use of project management tools such as Asana, Slack, and other data-tracking systems to ensure efficient workflow​.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, with familiarity in transcription or labeling industry tools​.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments​.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage teams through evolving policies and stay ahead of industry trends.
