The Architect – Senior Engineer, Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, is responsible for developing, supporting, and consulting on Human Capital Management applications and integrations on the Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Platform. The incumbent ensures reports and integrations, built to exchange data between the HCM systems and other applications, are developed and performing as per design, and has deep knowledge of integration architecture and best practice. The architect – senior engineer has experience implementing new solutions in a complex technology and business environment, partners with business, technical and product teams to understand and analyze challenges, and implements solutions in partnership with technology and business teams. Developing new integrations, reports or any enhancements to the existing reports and integrations are also scoped into this position.
Role & responsibilities
Architect – Senior Engineer, Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud 100 % • Liaise with Product Management, Engineering, and Human Capital Management teams to provide the business community with day-to-day technology operational integration support, including Oracle HCM Cloud (Human Capital Management System) and application integrations with other applications, and others as assigned. • Follow best practices for secure development, enterprise change control processes, version control, migrations, testing, standards, and procedures. • Work with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Learning Management, Finance, Product Management and other functional areas to gather requirements for new development or troubleshoot problems. • Develop reports in Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). • Develop test plans and perform Unit, System, Integration, Quality Assurance (QA), and other required testing. • Validate integrations for application upgrades (patches/fixes, application, etc.) and document the changes to facilitate future audits. • Perform object and data migrations where required. • Develop core competency with multiple applications including Oracle Taleo, Oracle Fusion HCM, Salesforce, and other Talent Management Applications and their use in relation to business processes. • Create and/or update product and integration documentation (processes, workflows, data flows, systems, etc.) as required. • Work with Offshore operations support team. • Mentor other team members as needed. Preferred candidate profile
Minimum Required Qualifications: • Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or eqivalent experience in a related field of study. • 8+ years of application development experience • 5 years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience • 5 years of HCM Extracts, HDL, and BI Publisher experience • 5 + years of experience developing integrations • Excellent technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM the entire platform • Excellent experience with Oracle Fusion HCM – APIs • Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM – BI Publisher • Experienced with Oracle Fusion HCM – HDL, SDL • Experienced with Oracle Fusion HCM Writing / troubleshooting batch scripts • Experienced with Oracle Fusion HCM Fast Formula development • Experienced or understanding of what is involved with Applicant Tracking System integration with Oracle Fusion HCM Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with middleware technologies (i.e., APIs, OCI, OIC, OAC, Workato).
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):
- Should have experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, Recruiting business process, BI Publisher, Integration, Reports, Oracle integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud • Strong knowledge in Oracle HCM : HCM Extracts and HCM Data Loader development, Integration with back-end systems and databases • Cross functional collaboration and technology solutioning skills • Define the standards, best practices and templates for building integrations using HCM Extracts, HDL, and API based integrations. • In-depth knowledge of Onboarding, Recruiting, Oracle HCM Cloud, and Oracle Business Intelligence • Advanced knowledge of API development • Advanced knowledge of Oracle HCM Extracts and HDL technologies • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications • Ability to analyze business problems and advocate best solutions • Demonstrate working knowledge of Scrum framework • Customer service-oriented • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
