Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complex Oracle environments, ensuring optimal database performance.
- Collaborate with offshore teams to facilitate seamless development and operational support.
- Drive initiatives for monitoring, tracking, and reporting Oracle database performance, while proposing continuous enhancements.
- Ensure compliance of Oracle platforms with internal processes and regulatory standards.
- Manage service-level agreements (SLAs), adhering to key performance metrics for timely service delivery.
- Lead incident management for Sev.1 and Sev.2 issues, taking charge of escalation and resolution.
- Evaluate architectural modifications to guarantee the system meets both immediate and future requirements.
- Stay informed on Oracle technologies and roadmaps, contributing to cloud strategies and identifying enhancement opportunities.
- Formulate and implement a visionary technical roadmap for Oracle platforms.
- Maintain and update architectural documentation for new initiatives.
- Lead disaster recovery (DR) testing and establish new protocols as necessary.
- Work in conjunction with teams for Oracle License management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in architecting and deploying multi-tiered technology solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and IT governance frameworks.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of managing technology projects or small teams.
- Expertise in large-scale project management methodologies and techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and pivot tables.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts and foster consensus among teams.
- Self-motivated with a robust problem-solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Oracle Database, Web Logic, Fusion Middleware, or a combination thereof.
- Proficiency with the Linux operating system and SQL.
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (employment eligibility will be verified during the hiring process).
