Job Description

As an Orion Investment Reporting Specialist, you will harness the power of the Orion platform to deliver tailored and accurate investment performance reports. This role combines your expertise in portfolio management and financial operations with hands-on Orion experience. You’ll create insightful analyses, ensure data accuracy, and provide customized solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (CO Time)

Work setup: Remote

Daily Moves That Drive Success

Orion Platform Expertise:

• Manage and maintain the Orion investment reporting software for accurate and timely reporting.
• Customize and generate performance reports that align with client and organizational needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by collaborating with internal teams or Orion support.

Investment Reporting and Analysis:

• Create detailed and visually appealing investment performance reports.
• Analyze portfolio performance, holdings, and transactions to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure all reporting complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Data Management:

• Oversee the integration and accuracy of financial data within Orion.
• Perform data imports, reconciliations, and quality checks to maintain account and report integrity.
• Manage workflows for onboarding new clients or portfolios in the Orion system.

Client and Team Support:

• Collaborate with advisors and team members to address client inquiries regarding investment performance.
• Train internal staff on the use and functionality of Orion reporting tools.
• Stay updated on Orion’s new features to enhance team efficiency and platform utilization.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in using the Orion investment reporting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to handle complex data sets.
• Familiarity with portfolio performance metrics and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of compliance standards within the financial services industry.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with additional financial platforms or tools such as Salesforce, Morningstar, or comparable software.
• Understanding of wealth management or financial advisory operations.

Additional Information:

• Candidates with experience in at least two financial analysis platforms are encouraged to apply. Examples include Morningstar Office, Black Diamond, Wealth Platform, Envestnet, Addepar, Tamarac, PortfolioCenter, eMoney Advisor, and Wealthbox CRM.
