We are looking for candidates who possess a robust existing account portfolio, particularly in the Atlanta region, ready for further growth. With our extensive marketing support at your disposal, exceptional in-person presentation and sales competencies will be crucial for your success. The role enables you to work autonomously while effectively managing your field time. You will enjoy the thrill of prospecting for new clients while also enhancing relationships with our established accounts. This position will strengthen our sales team in Georgia and offers the convenience of a remote work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote IT Infrastructure solutions from a variety of leading vendors, with a strong emphasis on State, Local, and School of Education (SLED) institutions.
- Drive sales engagement with clients in the Georgia area, particularly within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta.
- Operate within a designated sales territory based on your residency, current client relationships, and our established sales territory mapping.
- Provide existing and potential clients with detailed product information and pricing, while conducting regular on-site visits.
- Target Federal E-rate opportunities alongside commercial sales, collaborating with our Senior Network Engineers on pre-sales initiatives, including areas such as Security, Routing & Switching, Wireless, Collaboration, Data Center, and Virtualization.
- Employ a strategic, solution-driven approach to generate interest in our distinctive value propositions and enhance market positioning through relationship-building and negotiation.
Required Skills
- Over 3 years of outside sales experience in IT solutions, particularly with Cisco products or equivalent vendors (NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, Crestron).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
- A results-oriented and detail-focused approach.
- Proven credibility in interactions with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in SLED and commercial sales.
- Willingness to travel within the state of Georgia.
