Outside Sales Representative (Remote)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and maintain customer relationships by promoting our client’s capabilities and performance, resolving problems, and strengthening partnerships.
• Travel 40-50% within the surrounding territory.
• Communicate with prospective customers to understand potential opportunities, including purchase volume, product application, and service and product performance needs, to validate and close sales opportunities.
• Gather and share necessary service and product requirement information with internal stakeholders.
• Develop a working knowledge of internal systems and procedures to support the delivery of goods and services.
• Investigate and resolve or support the resolution of customer issues.
• Attend trade shows as necessary.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters strong relationships with clients, customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors. Perform any other duties related to this position’s scope.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, with a preference for flexible packaging sales.
• Understanding of flexible packaging, including printed and unprinted side-weld bags and roll stock, along with associated market applications.
• Ability to negotiate with customers to win sales opportunities and resolve challenges.
• Strong skills in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships to support the company’s position.
