Are you an expert in building strong relationships and providing top-notch customer support? Our client is seeking an experienced professional to champion the needs of key accounts, working closely with the sales team to develop and maintain a deep understanding of product ranges, processes, and customer requirements. This role requires exceptional accuracy, precision, and attention to detail while liaising with external customer contacts, internal teams, and managing administrative tasks for key customers using large data sets.

The Role…
To be successful in this role you will:

• Build and strengthen customer relationships with sales team members 
• Collaborate with purchasing and demand planning teams to ensure stock availability for key accounts
• Offer adhoc support to the sales team 
• Coordinate deliveries and projects with logistics team
• Manage all aspects of key account order processing, including returns
• Process EDI customer orders when required 
• Create quotes and communicate pricing/discount information to customers
• Arrange product samples for customers 
• Create and maintain customer commitment orders in Excel and internal systems, linking them to inbound purchase orders
• Update and maintain commitment tracker with ETA delivery information 
• Respond to customer queries, including data queries and product information requests 
• Support customers’ planogramming process with information and images
•  Maintain detailed spreadsheets of customer active ranges and items being discontinued 
• Track specific customer ordered quantities compared to their projections
• Perform routine checks on promotional orders to ensure pricing, barcodes, and quantities are accurate 

You…

• Previous experience in a customer service/sales role with a proven ability to build rapport with customers/field sales quickly 
• Proficient with handling large datasets via Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables and SUMIF)
• Friendly, engaging personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
