REPORTS TO: Vice President, Enterprise Solutions-Product Management

JOB LOCATION: Remote (U.S. Based)

TRAVEL: up to 10%

Summary Of Position

The Payments Product Manager will oversee the strategic and tactical aspects of i3’s Payment products utilized as part of solutions offered by the i3 Verticals business segments. The Payments Product Manager will define roadmap, strategies and go to market support to the i3 Verticals businesses offering payment functionality as part of their solutions. The Payments Product Manager will also be responsible for technically enabling seamless integrations with the i3 Verticals business product suites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The payments product manager is responsible for the management and optimization of payment systems utilized by i3 Verticals solutions. Their responsibilities include:

• Manage Payment product systems and tools.
• Product strategy: Developing and executing a product roadmap and ensuring that products meet the needs of the company, business verticals and customers.
• Product performance: Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of payment processes. While ensuring payments products are secure, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators for payment.
• Compliance: Ensuring that products comply with company and industry standards and policies.
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including business Verticals, engineering, marketing, sales, and finance, to deliver products and services.
• Stakeholder management: Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation.
• Drive integration projects to enable i3 Verticals business areas to utilize payment products features and functions.
• Product lifecycle: Refining the product lifecycle process.
• Market trends: Keeping track of market trends, new technologies, and the competition.
• Coordinate and prioritize the products needs and features between all Internal i3 Vertical teams and external parties (customers, vendor/partners, industry leaders) to support the design and development of the product.
• Collaborate with appropriate parties to determine cost, price models, and profit models for repeatable success.
• Support the sales team in demos and by providing content for proposals to include Request for Proposals (RFP).
• Provide regular feedback to development team on features for future product backlog based on market and/or customer needs. While also prioritizing technical debt and incorporating within the product roadmap.
• Assist the development team with release planning, functional and market research, and testing of releases when applicable.
• Champion engagement during backlog selection and/or development through product demonstrations and internal and/or customer feedback.
• Review customer support tickets to determine trends and/or future features to improve overall customer experience.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains and markets from a feature and functionality perspective.

Minimum Qualifications (education And Experience)

• Bachelors Degree or minimum of 5 years of related Payments Product Management experience.
• Deep experience in embedded payments
• Experience with building payment solution roadmaps, payment monetization strategies, including pricing, go-to-market execution, and scaling revenues
• Outstanding collaboration and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and inspiring both internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution capabilities

• Agile Certified Product Manager.
