Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Payroll Specialist to lead our payroll function. This position is responsible for providing an accurate and efficient payroll service to the hotel and supporting teams and managers through payroll related activities. The role includes the following specific tasks:

– Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll cycle, from processing, reviewing and submitting for payment, to management and statutory reporting.
– Prepare and verify the monthly accruals for salaries, wages and on-costs
– Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
– Calculation of termination, redundancy, and other payments
– Manage the payroll financial year-end process
– Woking in the Talent & Cutlure to manage the payroll enquiry and compliance cycle.

– A proven track record of success in a similar role (hospitality industry preferred)
– A passion for innovation and driving improvements within the Payroll function
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
– Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
